Short Track Speed Skating competition at the Arctic Winter Games consists of four individual events over age-appropriate distances, as well as a relay, making a combined total of 32 gold ulus to be awarded in four age/sex classes: junior and juvenile, male and female. A team consists of four athletes in each age/sex class and two coaches. Teams that regularly participate in speedskating include Alaska, Yukon, Alberta North, Northwest Territories, and Nunavut.
