[Palmer, June 8, 2023] — The MEA Charitable Foundation is proud to announce that its Operation RoundUp program has awarded a generous grant of $10,000 to support the hosting of the Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games. This significant contribution demonstrates the Foundation's commitment to fostering community development in the region for critical community efforts in its service area.


The Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games, scheduled to take place from March 10-16, will bring together athletes, coaches, and cultural participants from across Alaska and various Arctic regions. By rounding up their monthly electric bills to the nearest dollar, MEA members have collectively made a substantial impact on the communities they serve.
